Interview with Author Dianna Bellarose – author of Fire and Ice
What inspired you to begin writing?
It was like voice inside my head, not leaving me alone, trying to give me direction in life.

In Fire and Ice, Nancy, a naïve but resourceful, kindhearted woman, marries her high school sweetheart. As a working wife and mother, Nancy perseveres, despite having an abusive, alcoholic husband. Nancy was sitting at home trying to sort out her life. Trying to figure out what had gone wrong and what could be done to fix it. The weather was windy and rainy. Summer was almost over. There was something to look forward to, her trip to Hawaii. She was hoping to clear her head there.
The book I am working on right now, is a second part of Fire and Ice. It is going to be bigger and the rest is surprise.
How did you decide to publish this book? Why?
I had help from other Author who was so great to me and walked me thru every step. She was the reason for my book to come to life.
What is your advice to beginning writers?
My advice is: Never give up, do not listen to anybody, but yourself and do not get discouraged, no matter what.
What was your biggest challenge in writing this book?
I was not sure if I am going to be able to write a book which people would like and how people would react to it.
Most writers are readers. What books are on your “to-read” list?
Right now, I read a book by my fellow author who I am very honored to know. Her name is Jeannie Walker and her book is called Fighting the Devil: A True Story of Consuming Passion, Deadly Poison, and Murder, and I will read all of her books after that.

Question for fun sake—what was your favorite childhood meal and why?
I love macaroni and cheese, but for cheese, I use feta. I love cheese and products made from flour. I have Italian in my blood, probably this is the reason.
Author bio:
Diana Bellerose is born and raised in Europe, but she lives with her husband, daughter and their two dogs and cat in Seattle, WA. She has finished College in her thirties and found passion for writing about relationships obstacles later on. That is how she decided to write her first fiction novel to help woman cope in their marriage and recognize what is acceptable in a relationship and what is not. She enjoys gardening, photography, drawing, exploring other cultures, visiting interesting places, Languages, and yoga in her free time. She is currently working on her second fiction novel.
