Please share your background.
I was born in Nashville, Tenn., but I raised in the Motown city(Detroit) since I was a year old. I work full time as an instrument tech and a trauma hospital. I have three brothers, my younger brother still lives here in the City, one live in Japan and I have another older brother and younger sister.

What inspired you to write this book?
What inspired me to write this book actually took place at work. I have a co-worker that always bring up church this and church, but at the same time the things we do or the things she says always has us wondering. We joke about this all the time and I thought this would make a good idea for a book.

What is the best advice you have received about writing?
The best advice I received about my writing this book is just be creative and leave the readers feeling like this could really happen.

What is the biggest challenge you have had writing this book?
The biggest challenge in writing this book is all the time and energy of promoting my book. Most traditional publishing company already has that set up, but for indie author like me I have to put my foot to the pavement.

What has been the greatest reward in writing this book.
My greatest reward in writing this book is that everyone really feel what the characters are going through and they love it. I just got an email from a publishing company who love my book and I have been spotlighted on other blogs. I know this was for nothing and I am thrilled.

What are a few books on your “to read” list?
I have a couple of book from other indie authors, Kisses don’t lie and Between the Sheets.
