Writer’s Weekly Round up

Websites, Blog Posts and Articles for Writers

One of my passions is to help my fellow writers. Each week, I will share with you valuable and helpful links (websites, blogs, interviews, videos) I find on the web.

Here are my picks for this week:

1) WE Mag Who’s Who Women of 2012 in eCommerce – I am a true fan of this website as it is owned and published by one of the first women I met online many years ago…Heidi Richards Mooney. For a couple of years now, Heidi has created these fabulous lists of business women and shares their sites with the rest of us with her “Whos’ Who in eCommerce” list. Here is the list for 2012–WE Magazine for Women Who’s Who eCommerce List for 2012.

2)Zen Tips – Found this during a Stumble Up session. This site is filled with good for you (mind, body and spirit) tips and tools. Check out Zen Tips to see what it’s all about.

3) Even though I love to watch movies and am in awe of how movie writers and producers put the pieces together, I haven’t yet (see, I wrote yet) had the urgency to write for the movies. This might be just what you are looking for your writing. At Mental Floss, I found an article on how to write movie scenes

4) Ok, I found this and as a poet, I found this really cool! A poetry tip of the month! I know, how cool is that, right?
Here is the Poetry Month Tip by Roo Borson

5) Now when I first read this, I truly thought I read it wrong. Touching in Writing? What is that? What does that mean? BAM! That is the perfect title because it made me want to read the rest of the blog post and find out what truly is the meaning.
More than meets the eye (or shall I say touch) with the blog post at Essential Writing titled, Touching in writing

I hope you enjoyed this week’s Writer’s Round Up. Be sure and click on these links and check out the blog posts or websites. Let me know what you think.
